December update

We have had a very fun and eventful month!  December is my birthday, our anniversary, and of course Christmas and New Years.  We love when Daddy has time off and we get to spend extra time together as a family.  

I didn't take any pictures of our anniversary, but Brian and I went to dinner at Applebee's and then to see Hunger Games at Fat Cats.  We even got to spend extra time together during the day since we had a doctors appointment, which means he had a two hour lunch break!  We put Brayden to bed before our date, and then Amanda came over to do homework and listen for Brayden.  Easy job for her!

We went for a walk to our neighbors house and she gave him this chair and the candycane.  He was in heaven.

We carry on some childhood family traditions.  One of Brian's favorite is decorating and eating Christmas sugar cookies.  We had fun decorating with Brayden.  He loved putting sprinkles on the cookies, and put lots and lots of sprinkles on!

We had to childproof a few more cabinets in the kitchen.  I didn't want him to dent my pots anymore, so we locked those up.  He figured out his way around the the childlocks in the lazy susan where we keep our treats, so Brian put 2 childlocks on it, and he hasn't been able to open it since.  I feel bad taking away his fun, but it is a good thing for my sanity.

 Pregnancy update:
This picture was on my birthday, I was 32 weeks.  I have grown more since.  He continues to measure a little small each time, but growing.  He moves around a lot, especially at night.  He is head down.  I have been happy with how much energy I have had this pregnancy.  I am so much more sore this pregnancy though, the doctor said it is just the baby's position that is making me sore.  At my 34 week appointment I am measuring 33 cm, so he is catching up in size.  We are excited to meet our little guy!

We enjoyed some unusually warm weather at the beginning of the month.  We took advantage and played outside every day and went for walks.  We played tball in our back yard and in the sand box.  We even went to the park a few extra times.

We cleaned out our office room upstairs and turned it into the baby room.  We have always had a random room, so it really forced us to declutter and organize, which is great!  We painted shelves blue, and touched up paint in the room.  Scrubbed the whole room down, and moved furniture in.  We moved all of Brayden's old monster things in to Parker's room, and Brayden got a room update with a baseball theme.  We love how it turned out.  Brayden still has some toys in there, so it is still getting used a lot.  We also cleaned everything; the carseat, rock and play, pack n play, etc.  We are ready!

We took Brayden to play at the Craze.  He had fun in the bounce house, and with the big kids that loved playing with him.

He is obsessed with Disney Sing a Longs.  And we are obsessed with cuddling him.  So letting him watch those are a win win.

I made these for Jon and Lyndsee's family Christmas present.

One of Brayden's favorite Christmas toys is our little people Nativity.  He likes to make it play music, and put the lamb on the top of the manger.  He also likes to get into my primary music box and get the Sunbeam to put around his face.  He wears it as a hat, and it is adorable.

Rexburg opened up the carousel for a night and played Christmas music.  Also, Santa was there.  We took Brayden to ride the carousel and it was really fun.  It was so crowded and we were in line for quite a while, but it was worth it.  We didn't take him to see Santa though, because he is afraid of him.  Maybe next year.

He loves to sit on the counter tops lately!
